For six weeks in the summer, REALSTREAM combines Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, Math for primary grade students. This year, REALSTREAM is scheduled from July 5th to August 11th. This summer we will work and play in our nature-based outdoor classroom at The REAL Program in Lynn on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we will ride (and sing) on the bus to North Shore Community Baptist Church in Beverly Farms. This is a great setting where children can climb trees, play lawn games, play basketball, do art/crafts, REALSTREAM activities and visit the Beverly Farms Library. The many field trips and on-site enrichment activities cover all aspects of the curriculum with a base of literacy and community building. Students are provided breakfast, snacks, and lunch each day.
